Our Story
Since 1987, Suja Silks has been a quiet house of pure Kanjivaram silk — woven by four generations of weaver families in Kanchipuram.
Every saree begins on a pit loom in Kanchipuram. From the reeling of double-warp silk to the drawing of gold zari through cane threads, each stage is done by hand.
We work with a small circle of master weavers whose families have been draping India's brides for a hundred years. Nothing leaves our atelier that we would not drape ourselves.
